110 terrorism-affected schools in the city and countryside of Aleppo are being rehabilitated

Concerned committees in Aleppo Governorate and Aleppo Education Directorate are cooperating in rehabilitating and restoring 110 schools in the city and the countryside of Aleppo within the Syrian government's plan to restore the schools that were destroyed by terrorist organizations.

Member of the Executive Bureau for Education and Schools in Aleppo Governorate Dimitry Issa told SANA reporter that many schools have been completely restored and equipped and they are ready to be put into service by the beginning of the second semester.

"This will reduce the high number of students in each school," he said.

Latakia, (ST) - The judicial complex in the city of Al-Haffah in the countryside of Lattakia is back in service after completing the process of repairing operations of the damage caused by terrorism, and the rehabilitation and restoration of the building and the commencement of work

The head of the Public Prosecution in Al-Haffah, Judge Bahjat Al-Ali, said in a statement to SANA's correspondent that, the restoration and rehabilitation work included the damaged sections that were destroyed by terrorist groups' attacks.

Pumping tests conducted for the water network of the liberated town of Khan Sheikhoun

The General Establishment of Water in Idlib said that it has started the pumping tests for the water network of the liberated town of Khan Sheikhoun in Idlib southern countryside in preparation for starting the permanent and regular pumping so as to ensure water for the displaced citizens who returned to their areas after the Syrian army had liberated them from terrorism.

The pumping tests were conducted after the damage, caused to the water network by terrorist attacks, was fixed, according to Director of the Establishment Mohammad Ajami. He said that this process would detect any malfunctions or leaks in the water lines so that they can be fully repaired and rehabilitated in preparation for pumping water into the Khan Sheikhoun network regularly within a maximum period of one month.

Syrian-Iraqi talks in the fields of transport and railways between the two countries

On January 10th, the Iraqi Minister of Transport Nasser Hussein Bandar Al-Shibli and the Syrian Ambassador to Iraq Satam Jadaan Al-Dandah discussed ways to improve cooperation in the fields of transport and railways between Syria and Iraq.

Al-Shibli and Al-Dandah discussed the issue of the railway connection between Syria and Iraq and cooperation in the field of transport between the two countries,” the Iraqi Ministry of Transport said in a statement.

A new solar power plant in Hama produces 1.8 million watts hours annually

A new "solar" renewable power plant  is on its way to completion soon in Hama Governorate, in preparation for putting it into service and investment after connecting it with the public electricity network within 3 months.

This station will be a substitute for the public electrical network, as it will be used for the benefit of the electrical system in the governorate for a period of 25 years. It is the result of cooperation between the public and private sectors.
