The SDF militias demolish dozens of homes in Raqqa and kidnap 3 civilians in the countryside of Deir Ezzor

On January 24th, the US-backed SDF militias bulldozed dozens of residential houses in the city of Raqqa after its residents were expelled from them.

Local sources said that the SDF militias bulldozed and demolished dozens of houses north of Hazima, 10km north Raqqa city.

The US-backed SDF militias continued their aggressive practices against civilians, including kidnapping, stealing agricultural crops and property, and bulldozing homes in order to harass people to push them to leave their homes and prevent them from going out in protests against the militias and demanding their exit from their areas.

Al-Miqdad expresses to the Indian ambassador the appreciation of Syria for the stance of the Indian government

On January 24th, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Faisal Al-Miqdad received India's ambassador to the Syrian Arab Republic Hafiz Al-Rahman.

The two sides discussed the friendly and solid relations between the two countries and India's willingness to provide a batch of doses of the anti-corona virus vaccine.

Minister Al-Miqdad expressed Syria's appreciation for the Indian government's supportive stance in its war against terrorism through political support in international arenas.

Maintenance team to re-operate all wells in Alouk water station

Russia distributes food packages to 84 displaced families in a shelter in Sweida

SWEIDA, (ST)_The Russian coordination center has distributed food packages to 84 displaced families living in temporary  shelter  in Rsas town in Sweida governorate with the aim of expressing Russia's support for the people of Syria.

According to the member of the Executive Bureau in Sweida governorate Adnan Azzam, the distribution of the food packages comes within the framework of cooperation and friendship between Syria and Russia in confronting world terrorism and the effects of  the unjust war being launched on Syria.

US-backed SDF militia continues to prevent students in Hasaka neighborhoods from reaching their schools

HASAKA, (ST)- The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) separatist militia continues to prevent students in the neighborhoods of Syria’s Hasaka from reaching their schools by not allowing transportation means to enter the city’s center as part of the militia’s continuous aggressive acts against the locals in Hasaka.

In a statement to SANA, Hasaka Education Director Ilham Sorkhan said that the militia’s prevention of transportation means to enter the city center, has impeded the students’ ability to reach their schools, pointing out that most of the students come from different neighborhoods in Hasaka to study the government’s curriculum in the light of the continuous attempts by the SDF militia to impose certain curricula that serve its US-backed separatist agenda.

Syria strongly condemns US and western interference in Russia’s internal affairs

Syria strongly condemns the blatant American and Western interference in Russia’s internal affairs and the West’s anti-Russia incitement campaigns that aim at destabilizing the country.

An official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates told SANA on Sunday that such behavior proves the hypocrisy that has characterized the western countries’ policies when they speak about democracy and human rights, because these policies flagrantly contradict the simplest principles of human rights and led in many regions of the world to a lot of human casualties.

 The unfair sanctions imposed by the West on several sovereign countries are the main reason for the suffering of many peoples of the world and for depriving them of the basic requirements of life, the source added.

Re-pumping water from the Alouk water station after being cut off by the Turkish occupation for a week

On January 23, the General Organization for Drinking Water in Al-Hasakah Governorate restarted the Alouk water station after its work was stopped by the Turkish occupation forces seven days ago.

The Director General of the General Organization for Drinking Water, Eng. Mahmoud Al-Okla, stated that 21 of the wells of the station started working and the tanks in the Alouk area have begun to be filled.

The Turkish occupation forces had stopped operating the Alouk water station, which supplies the city of Hasakah and the western countryside with drinking water, for the eighteenth time since it occupied Ras Al-Ain since November 2019.
