Syrian Air Defenses Confront US-French-British Aggression on Syria

DAMASCUS, (ST)- The Syrian Arab army air defenses have confronted a US-French- British aggression on Syria that was launched at dawn today.

According to the Syrian TV, the air defenses downed 13 missiles over Kisweh area before reaching their targets.

The TV reporter denied news that  Damascus International Airport was attacked.

SANA reporters said that the tripartite aggression missiles attacked the research center in Barza area and that the Syrian air defenses confronted a number of missiles that targeted army depots in Homs.

Al-Jaafari: If US, Britain, and France attack Syria, the Syrian People Will Confront Them

NEW YORK – Syria’s Permanent Representative at the UN Dr. Bashar al-Jaafari said that if the US, Britain, and France think they can attack Syria and violate its sovereignty, the Syrian people will confront them and will not allow anyone to transgress upon their country’s sovereignty, according to SANA.

During a Security Council session held on Friday upon Russia’s request to discuss the US threats about attacking Syria, al-Jaafari said that the US Representative claimed that the Syrian government used chemical weapons 50 times which led to the death of 200 civilians, describing this as amateur talk fit for children’s comic books, because it makes no sense that a government would use chemical weapons 50 times to kill 200 civilians.

Four civilians injured due to terrorist attack with shells on outskirts of Yarmouk Camp in Damascus

Damascus – Four civilians, two of them children, were injured by shells fired by Daesh (ISIS) terrorists on the outskirts of Yarmouk Camp in Damascus.

A source at Damascus Police Command said that Daesh terrorists positioned in Yarmouk Camp fired 3 shells which landed on a building opposite al-Rahma Hospital in the surroundings of al-Batikha roundabout at the outskirts of the Camp, injuring four civilians, two of them children, in addition to causing material damage, SANA reported.

The source added that Daesh terrorists also fired a mortar shell which fell near al-Bashir Mosque at the Camp’s outskirts, causing material damage.

Army uncovers lab for making toxic materials and workshop for manufacturing shells in Eastern Ghouta

 

Damascus Countryside – During canvassing operations in the towns which were cleared from terrorism in Eastern Ghouta, Syrian Arab Army units found a large a lab for making toxic materials and workshop for manufacturing shells in Aftris area.

A military source said that lab that was abandoned by terrorists in Aftris town is equipped to make various types of toxic substances, and has all the necessary equipment for making powders used in making prohibited weapons, SANA reported.

Exit of “Jaish al-Islam” Terrorists from Douma Continues

DAMASCUS-The process of evacuating “Jaish al-Islam” terrorists and their families from Douma to Jarablos  via al-Wafideen Camp corridor continues in preparation to clear Douma of terrorism and to returm the state institutions to the city, according to SANA.

SANA’s correspondent to al-Wafideen Camp corridor said that 63 buses boarding hundreds of “Jaish al-Islam” terrorists and their family members from Douma to the gathering point at Harasta highway in order to transport them collectively to Jarablos.

Syria Reaffirms Full Cooperation with OPCW: Foreign Ministry Source

DAMASCUS- Syria reaffirmed willingness to fully cooperate with the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) and deliver on the obligations consequent to its joining the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC), an official source at the Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said on Thursday, according to SANA.

Based on this, the source added, Syria repeats that the ongoing US and Western campaign of disinformation over an alleged use of toxic gases in Douma and the claims of obtaining evidence pertaining to it are a “clear attempt to misguide public opinion in service of aggressive schemes against Syria.

Al-Jaafari: Syrian Government to Facilitate Access of OPCW's Team to Any Point in Douma

DAMASCUS, (ST)- Dr. Bashar al-Jaafari, Syria's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, has stressed that  the Syrian government will facilitate the access of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapon's (OPCW) team members to any point they want in Douma.
