Pentagon denies the Trump’s description of the Beirut bombing as an attack

Washington, (ST) - Pentagon officials have denied statements of US President Donald Trump, in which he indicated that the explosion that occurred at the port of the Lebanese capital, Beirut, on Tuesday, was caused by an "attack", stressing that there is as yet no evidence to indicate this.

President Donald Trump said U.S. military generals have told him that they “seem to feel” the massive explosion that rocked Beirut on Tuesday was a “terrible attack” likely caused by a bomb.

Israeli occupation forces arrest 11 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank

Occupied al-Quds, (ST) The Israeli occupation forces arrested on Wednesday eleven Palestinians in separate areas of the occupied West Bank.

Wafa News Agency reported that the occupation forces stormed the cities of Bethlehem and Tubas and the village of Kafr Qalil in Nablus and the town of Ya`d, southwest of Jenin, and arrested eleven Palestinians.

The occupation forces yesterday arrested 12 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.

The occupation forces demolish two houses south of occupied al-Quds

The Israeli occupation forces also stormed the town of Silwan, south of occupied al-Quds (Jerusalem), and demolished two houses.

Zarif sympathizes with Lebanon over deadly blast

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in a message expressed sympathy with Lebanese people over the deadly blast which claimed the lives of scores of people.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with the great and resilient people of Lebanon," Zarif wrote in his Twitter account late on Tuesday.

"As always, Iran is fully prepared to render assistance in any way necessary," Zarif added.

Russia warns Israel of the repercussions of repeating its attack on Syrian territories

MOSCOW, (ST)_Moscow has strongly condemned the Israeli missile attack on Syria, warning the Israeli occupation entity of the repercussions of repeating such acts .

A statement released by the Russian Foreign Ministry published on its website on Tuesday said that” We strongly condemn those actions, and express deep concern over them, and warn Israel of the consequences of repeating  such steps which pose threat to the Middle East, reaffirming Russia’s support of the Syrian Arab Republic sovereignty and the territorial integrity.

US firm's oil deal with SDF militia has no legal validity: Iran

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Abbas Mousavi on Tuesday said that the US' oil deal with the US-backed “Syrian Democratic Forces” militia has no legal validity, condemning the move.

The senior diplomat termed the move as the violation of international law, adding that it is against the Syrian national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
